Novel polymer technology has allowed Henkel chemists to design a new type of bookbinding spine adhesive which helps printers enter new market areas.
The adhesive, Technomelt GA 3980 Ultra gives higher adhesion and stronger binding on all perfect binding equipment, without any special equipment being needed.
Technomelt GA3980 Ultra also has improved heat and cold resistance compared to typical bookbinding hot melt adhesives. Good spine preparation and adhesive film intergrity are key to get the best from Technomelt GA 3980 Ultra, as is the case with any perfect binding adhesive
